Registering a new domain name

Gather the information that you need:

  • A paragraph on the reasons you need a new domain name.
  • Your team contact details.
  • A couple of alternate domain name preferences.

Discuss your ideas with your department domain administrator then have access to log in and fill out a new domain name application.

We will either register the domain or be in touch with your domain admin with suggestions if you domain name does not meet the policy.

What has changed?

In our new improved domains system, domain administrators can now:

  • Apply for state and federal domain names
  • View full list of your domain names
  • Renew domains and update name servers instantly
